John Boyle absolutely slams allegations against Blutential

Rating: Did not use/steal/recreate from anyone

Following up a piece which GoMobile News recently carried under the headline ‘Blutential stole my ideas says Blumore’s Devanney’ here. This was a follow-up from ’A BluPod from might help with proximity marketing’ here,  in which we published a comment from Keith Devanney claiming the Blupod had been developed by his company – Blumore. This he alleged had been “stolen by John Boyle.” Below Blutential’s John Boyle adamantly denies the allegations made by Keith Devanney.Boyle says… “Keith Devanney is committing slander and defamation against me and Blutential.

I came in contact with this person when I was told he could engineer a product for my company.

He failed to produce a working product – in fact, my IT consultants had reasonable evidence to support the fact that the joke of a unit he claimed was his was actually the intellectual property of a different company.

At that time I explained to Mr Devanney that his product did not fulfil our requirements. He continued to backtrack and give me excuses even though I ended our business relationship.

He is trying to extort me for a crime I did not commit. If research was done correctly, you will notice Blutential is no longer using a ‘device’.

Blutential now has technology that works without an additional device. Blutential will launch with this platform very soon.

After Blutential launches, there are plans to add a device that will be used in situations where more precise geofencing is necessary.”

GoMobile News agrees that this (no mention of a Blupod device) is actually true since the Blutential site only mentions Android and iOS apps.

However, proper research does  involve calling the number given on the web site which is +1 8554258763 (1 4BLUPOD). That number doesn’t work.

Boyle continues, “After the nightmare of Mr.Devanney and what we found to be lifeless technology, Blutential moved away from Bluetooth altogether.

A device was created with Blutential’s proprietary technology – again, no longer using Bluetooth or anything that could be considered to be Mr Devanney’s alleged intellectual property.”

This is an interesting bit. Boyle states,”I completely agree with his statement that Bluetooth marketing has died – and we have ‘realised’ this, thank you.

I do, however, believe it will come back when consumer trends and awareness evolve – but I have no intention of diving back into that industry after this experience.”

Hmm. So Bluetooth seems to be dead for proximity marketing then.

Boyle concludes, “I did not use/steal/recreate his [Devanney's] ‘technology’ in any way. I will not be bullied by someone hiding behind his computer. I will not accept these false accusations.”

Boyle provides this email address contact info@Blutential.com for people to to get in contact for further details. But no telephone number. Hiding behind an email address then John??
