It is the Taiwanese manufacturer’s lowest sales since January 2010, when it reported NT$11.12 billion (£248 million).
In the fourth quarter of 2012 HTC reported a 90 per cent fall in profits, which CEO Peter Chou attributed to a lack of marketing.
The company projects revenue in the first quarter of 2013 could dip up to 17 per cent to £1.1 billion.
Its latest release, the HTC One, goes on sale in the UK this month. The news also follows the departure of its UK and Ireland regional director Phil Roberson, who has been replaced by VP of product and operations for EMEA Philip Blair.
